Manifesto

What we believe. Why we build the way we build.

Five values, written in advance so they're harder to compromise later.

Our values

Five lines we measure ourselves against.

01

Build for builders.

Our primary users are developers — the architects of the future. We obsess over creating elegant, powerful, and joyful tools for them. We write documentation we would want to read. We build SDKs we would want to use. We offer support we would want to receive.

02

Own the complexity, deliver simplicity.

Enterprise IT is inherently complex. Our purpose is to absorb this complexity — legacy systems, inconsistent data, security challenges — so we can provide a clean, simple interface on the other side. We do the hard work so our customers don't have to.

03

Act as a steward, not a gatekeeper.

The next internet needs reliable data access, not new gatekeepers. We build neutral infrastructure for it: open standards over proprietary lock-in, transparency over opacity, fairness as the default.

04

Think in decades, execute in days.

We're driven by a long-term vision for the next generation of the internet. We understand this vision is built through relentless, pragmatic, agile execution. Marathon runners who train like sprinters.

05

Be a partner in the trenches.

We are not a faceless vendor. We succeed by embedding with our customers, deeply understanding their challenges, and co-creating solutions. Accountable, accessible, committed.

Words you can hold us to

If we ever stop living up to one of these, call us out.

We mean every line. If we slip, we want to hear it.
